Since our establishment in 1974, A.Armeftis Ltd – RIKKOS has proudly served as a beacon of tradition and quality in Cyprus. We are a family-owned company deeply rooted in the art of sesame processing and the production of Tahini and Cyprus Halawa. Over the decades, we have grown to become one of the largest manufacturers in the region, blending time-honored techniques with cutting-edge European machinery to ensure the highest quality products.
Our journey began with the vision and expertise of Mr. Matheos Armeftis, a true pioneer in the industry. He personally crafted traditional Halawa through meticulous hand kneading and processed sesame with salt to create our renowned Tahini using traditional stone mills. His commitment to quality and tradition laid the foundation for our company’s success.
Following the passing of Mr. Matheos Armeftis, his legacy was carried forward by his son, Mr. Andreas (RIKKOS) Armeftis. Under his stewardship, the company continued to flourish, preserving the time-honored methods that have made our products so special.
Today, we proudly introduce the third generation of the Armeftis family, Mr. Matheos (Athos) Armeftis, who has embraced the responsibility of ensuring the continuation of our legacy of excellence. Under his guidance, A.Armeftis Ltd – RIKKOS has evolved into a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility located in the vibrant city of Limassol, Cyprus.
